Custom Fields now available for Locations

You can now define Custom Fields for Locations, the same way you already do for Assets, Vendors, Cost Centers, and other CI families. Use them to store structured data such as cost center codes or budget references, and make that information filterable, sortable, exportable, and available in dashboards across the Locations Explorer, just like on any other CI family.

Filter and Automate with CI Connections

Connections can now be used as filters in the Explorers, and any Person linked to a CI through a connection can receive emails from Automations. A new auto-cleanup setting decides whether a connection is deleted or kept as flagged when a related CI is deleted or becomes untracked.

JSON API content type support for Web Service Call action

You can now send a nested JSON body when configuring a Web Service Call action in Automations. Select the API JSON format to define your request payload with the same structure the target API expects, matching the experience already available in InvGate Service Management.

Financials Tab for VMware ESXi Assets

VMware ESXi assets now include a Financials tab, matching what is already available for physical servers. Acquisition date, purchase price, provider, and warranty can now be tracked directly on the ESXi asset profile, without the need for a separate manual asset.

Connections Between Configuration Items

Configuration Items can now be linked to each other using native or custom connection types, for example between an asset and its owner, or a database and the server that hosts it. These connections appear in a dedicated tab on the CI profile alongside Business Application relationships, giving full context of the CI.

Prevent Deployment Self-Approval

You can now require that deployment plans and packages be approved by someone other than their creator. When enabled, the creator of a plan or package cannot approve their own submission — another user with approval permissions must do so. This setting is available under Settings > Software Deployment > Security controls > Deployment approval.

Filter and View Tags on Licensee Assets in Hardware Leasing Contracts

You can now see and filter by Tags directly in the Licensees tab of a Hardware Leasing contract. The Tags column shows the tags assigned to each leased asset, right after the Serial Number column, and the table can be filtered by one or more tags.

Execute Physical Audits Using QR Codes

Physical inventory audits can now be run directly from a mobile device using QR codes. Each scan is reconciled against Asset Management in real time, showing Found, Missing, and Extra results by location, so teams can complete audits in hours instead of weeks.

Manufacturer selector no longer shows irrelevant software manufacturer entries

The manufacturer selector now filters out low-quality or irrelevant entries coming from software normalization data — such as serial-number-like strings, meaningless names, or numeric-only values — keeping the selector clean and focused on manufacturers that are actually relevant for hardware context.
